The club and Mrs Thomson especially have to be thanked for their hard work in bringing Status Quo to Palmerston and putting Dumfries in the spotlight . Even if say we broke even over the whole event , then the amount of people that enjoyed last night will be back again along with others that missed out . Might be a slow burner In terms of bringing revenue straight away but the initiative of thinking ' outside the box' in bringing funding to Queens is alive and well around Palmerston.

Let's not forget club legend Jim Thomson in this . He , for me , is the unsung hero ... Well done to the promoters and big JT .
Great night . Next time have a concert on the Friday & another on the Saturday . The stage is there so why not use it again the following night
