Agreed... even if it's for one season on loan, let's get an established and proven player in who will contribute from the off. There's not enough time in the PL for unknown quantities from lower leagues to establish themselves.

We have ( as far as you can in the PL ) a relatively decent 6 to 8 games to start off with and need points on the table from the off.
