    Confusement.

    We had more top batsman
    More top bowlers
    and lost the series 3-2
    dumbfounded really.
    And this series hasn't had the same hype as previous series.

    Not sure I agree you having more top batsmen but your best are consistently better than our best, if that makes sense.

    This series did seem a bit "friendly", little verbal banter between the sides.

    The England team seems to lack the big personalities that invoke strong reactions from opposition or supply the type of retorts that bring any hype. Australia demolishing England 5-0 in the last series and being heavily touted to win this one by the same score because of the World Cup and our respective performances against the West Indies meant that little was expected from England, hence little hype.
