Just had a nice bet on the Sc-m getting relegated @12-1. If they don't beat Norwich on Sunday, the likely hood is they wont win any of their following 5 games. By the end of October they could potentially be in disarray. Their current squad is so poor i can only objectively put them above Sunderland/Norwich and Watford. We will see but it will be a long hard season for them for sure.

Do you reckon you would get those odds today ?

Yes the odds are still available today. I don't see how anything has changed apart from the fact you beat a 10 man side who i already acknowledged was a worse squad than yours. I will review your league position after the next 5 games as i previously posted. My "guess" is you wont get more than 3 points in total from the next 5 games. We will see wont we. From my point of view it is a value bet and i firmly believe your squad is very lightweight . I could be wrong, but i have taken an opinion and placed my money where my mouth is. Good luck!

Most major bookmakers, I have looked at a spread sheet in the last few minutes, have the Scummers at 20s or 25s to be relegated. One has them as low as 14s. One win or a heavy loss can change the odds, if anyone fancies a bet now would be a good week or so to take the plunge.

Thats a very good point LDB. At 20-1 or so , what can you lose? My bet is based on their current squad/recent games ive watched them in, and the fact they're the "old enemy" Just for a bit of interest in their season. They normally get out of it one way or another. Obviously since theyve been up this time round they've done very well, but they've sold too many top players in recent times.

No longer distracted by Europa league, in which we failed to reach the group stage, could turn out to be a blessing in disguise. That is a change.
So called top players have been replaced with arguably better. Oriol Romeu and Cedric Soares are two footed players which their predecessors were not.
Thought this season would be a struggle but the win v Norwich could prove pivotal with a return of confidence and form.
I fear for your money mate !
