    Burnley v Blues

How many we taking ? lots ! result ? not a happy hunting ground for us historically , burnley should have the upper hand recently relegated with loadsa money ,however ........i still fancy us to score one or two , so i'm getting splinters on this one and with fingers crossed going for a 2-2 .

Without Trevor Francis in the side this will be a hard game to win for us so a draw is a real bonus at this stage.

After a disciplined first half during whiich we controlled most of the play we fell apart in the second half with the defenders hoofing the ball anywhere up the pitch with the result that Burnley immedialely gained posession again and went on the offensive. Fortunately they failed to make the best of their opportunities but against better opposition we will get severely punished if we play like this again.

in fairness spion i think Burnley are one of the better sides in the league this season and we wont have to endure the passing game they employed which to be honest pulled our defenders about the shop a bit , however had cotterills shot gone in off the post we might have gone on to win , it was more about two silly free kicks conceded and our lack of strength in the centre half position it was really poor marking for the headed goal , the equaliser was great no chance for the keeper , little bit of luck going in off the bar but we had that ourselves tother week , plus points kieftenbeld and toral
