Had some bad news this afternoon about my good friend Pat, Apparently on Saturday he tripped and fell and broke a rib which in turn punctured a lung, he is currently in Royal Blackburn he's in a lot of pain and having fluid removed from his lung before they can repair and re-inflate it I will try to get up to see him this week I know you will all wish him a speedy recovery and I'm sure he'll be back posting as soon as he can.

Not doing too badly now Yorky mate thx for asking, just not quite as mobile as I once was but getting around slowly albeit with the help of my crutches main thing is I'm getting out for a pint or three and I can play with the grandkids so I can't complain, anyway I should have more to tell you all about Pat later tonight as his brother in law is gonna contact me when he goes to visit tonight

Ps I have asked his Brother in law to pass on all your kind wishes he said he would

Quick up-date on Pat, I spoke to his missus last night and she said he is a lot more comfortable now they got the pain relief working he is still waiting the results of the scan and should find out more today........watch this space ;-)
