    A minutes applause.

Its been suggested on the Wolves boards on fb that a minutes applause is held at tomorrows game on the 2nd minute for Sparkys kid Ryan who died of his heart defect last year.

A fitting tribute if this happens.

    RIP Ryan.

Sorry, I don't mean any disrespect to Gary or his family but I think this is ridiculous. And where does all this end? At this rate we'll be applauding every minute of the ninety!

I must say I have nothing but respect for Gary and what he and his Partner have gone through with the tragic loss of their son but I agree with Plater.

I will participate in a minute's applause at tomorrows game if it happens. If not, i will spare a thought for Ryan and his family.

I do also think that football is often used to commemorate a person's passing, some that don't have any link to the club we follow. We have also seen it where football followers applaud at a certain minute during a game to acknowledge a campaign, ie 'Justice for Jeff' done by Albion fans.

    re: A minutes applause.

A couple of Geordie lads at work have commented on the awkwardness that some feel at Sid James's Park now regarding the applause for the two poor lads who died in the plane disaster. It's been going for some time now and things like this, wonderful as they are, can create a monster.

I would still like to hope Gary and his family all the best and all the luck in the future.
They have gone through hell, I couldn't even bear to think what it is like to lose like they have.
