    SIMO VALAKARI

Heard rumour about this ex player being touted for the job, sorry but I do not think that's the answer, the guy is not what we need just now. We need a more experienced manager to take the team forward.

Valakari is now the 4/6 favourite according to the bookies tonight, interestingly Mark MaGhee is no longer being quoted by three of the bookies for the job

Twitter rumour that reps from the club will be meeting with Simo Valakari in Finland this week.

Bookies also seem to have slashed his odds.

Were we to go for him I doubt he'd be available until the Kilmarnock game given the situation in Finland - not ideal but the chances of getting anything from Celtic and Aberdeen are practically zilch regardless of who's in charge.

Valakari fills me with no hope whatsoever. We need need someone like him like a stag needs a hatrack. Championship beckons on this one.

Agreed. We need a proven Manager for a 2 year period with an 'apprentice' below to take the role on at a later date ... IMO.
