    Rosler sacked at Leeds

And another manager bites the dust.

Steve Evans apparantly taking over, that could be fun.

GB very lucky we have owners who seem very dis interested in just how well we do ...

There's no answer to that Howie.
But is something that I constantly ponder over ???
On the other hand, is it refreshing to witness owners who stick 'faithfully' with the man of their choosing and give him as long as it takes ???

Scatter gun sackings do not work but on the other hand how long do you go along with mediocrity?
We will never and I mean NEVER go up with Gary bowyer in charge but he does deliver a certain amount of stability
is the owners happy with the pig and whistle league we are sat in?
I can't imagine so but who knows with them.

Scatter Gun sackings never work. As proved by the appointments of Henning Berg & Appleton and the subsequent sackings, because we perceived what we where doing was mediocre. Almost every fan wanted Kean gone, while we where sat in the top 2. Again, because of a supposed mediocre display vrs Boro at home. And having spent almost our entire history in the 'the pig and whistle' league, where exactly do you believe they belong? As take away Walkers free money, and that relatively small spell in the Prem (in comparison to over 120 years in league football). Delusions of grandeur? Hope, unawareness of our history, where we came from? It's startling how folk forget we came from the exact same place we now reside. But due to being spoilt with Walkers money, it appears some think we have a divine right o be back in a league we simply would never have graced, had it not been been for being handed someone's personal fortune. But where we are now, which is actually better off from where we started

    Ok champs
I actually do not mind the league we are in and certainly do not have visions of grandeur
however in comparison to the bright lights and money of the premier this league is looked apon as a pig and whistle type affair
I am well aware we are in a better position than pre walker but our current owners will not like continually being stuck in this league
eventually they will stop sticking and twist
is this the way forward?nobody knows but one thing is for sure the money on offer in the premiership is more or less a given for us to survive long term

We had a stable footing destroyed by crooks and clueless idiots
now granted some fans have not returned due to not being in the top league but a few have vowed not to return until venkys have left
the sad thing is they fund us and when they leave we have to pay them back
To the tune of 100 million
literally we need to return to the prem to break even
I cannot for one minute feel venkys will turn around and say as we have *********ed your club up we don't expect the money back.

A stable foot in what? The Prem? We didn't, unless we kept haemouaging money which only would've put us further at risk. The only thing that kept us in that league was the money left from The Walkers Trust, dwindling away each season. It was always going to run out, as was our time in the Prem. The simple fact non football people came in, bought the club, where badly advised at first (which is their first & biggest mistake) due to being non football people, simply hastened that. They don't have the money to keep the club in that league. Unlike Leeds, where the circus keeps on going on and on, Rovers had one season of turmoil. Since then it's fair to say it's been stability, during which the club have (unfairly) had an embargo placed on it.

You could throw a load of money at trying to get out of this league, like Derby did last season, and this one. And failing. Derby have the support, we don't. Even after the embargo s finally lifted, are the owners now even likely to want to inves

Reallyyyy??? !!!!....you seem to be forgetting the real reasons why most fans wanted that tw@t and his cronies out of our club Champs !

Interesting to see no one in english football would touch Kean with a barge pole after his sacking..i wonder why ...

And dont forget the majority on here who do post remember way before the Walker days so are well aware of just where Rovers came from and enjoyed the ride while it lasted with Walkers brass.
