Enjoying the frustration of Rooney, in the early second half Rooney and Shawcross goes up for a ball and Rooney gets the worst of it as Shawcross wins it from behind Rooney, thanks to an added shove. Rooney furious, chirping at the referee. Still 2-0 with less than a half-hour to go.

An excellent save from Butland to deny Fellaini, also a good ball in from Rooney. Rooney has at least give Man.Utd a different option going forward that wasn't there in the first half.

Liverpool v Leicester up next, or Swansea v West Brom, or ManC v Sunderland. I'll probably jump between the first two...thank God for remote controls!!

Excellent goal for Southampton and Martina in their game against Arsenal, worth seeing over and over, outside of his right foot and so much bend on it, 1-0.

Great for trivia contestants in the future, "Cuco Martina" in the 19th minute, another upset in the making?

It's not often that Arsenal get well and truly beaten, but Southampton played them off the park.

Forest and Leeds the only game of note in England today, kicks off at 4.30 pm.

1-0 Forest, long ball forward from Matt Mills not dealt with by either Bellusci or keeper Silvestri, Oliveira opens the scoring.

Leeds fans again chanting what they think of Sky Sports and their live coverage. I'm glad i don't subscribe to any of their packages, and i haven't for over six years now.

    1-0 Forest at the break.
