    Singalong Saturday

We could really do to try and get some sort of atmosphere back to Palmerston Park starting from this weekend for the Dumbarton game .
The manager and players have mention how quiet it is at home games so let's try and get some of the noise back that was there last season .
I know some of the young ones are banned but there's still more than enough left to create some sort of atmosphere . As long as everyone behaves themselves then there's shouldn't be any problem with stewards & Police . I'm pretty sure they know what's is and what's not acceptable at games now .

Maybe the club themselves could try and rally the troops but putting some kind of encouraging announced on the OS this week . They , like us , have a part to play

    Drummer boys where are you's???

The club , players and management team were full of praise for the atmosphere at games last season
Maybe the morgue like atmosphere this year is rubbing off on the players .
    Something needs done !!!!!

Johnny, I will get Palmylad to bring his big flag . He is the man for starting up a sing song as well.

Don't really care what song they start with on Saturday just as long as there's some sort of atmosphere created . The young team were superb last season ( apart from the pyrotechnics) and we need them onside again as from Saturday .

With such an ageing support they are the future of our club and need encouraged along to watch Queens and be able to enjoy themselves without feeling intimated

Well done to the bunch of lads who made the effort and tried to create some much needed atmosphere today but it was yet again spoiled by the bully boy antics of the Police . Why on Earth do they feel the need to stand directly behind the group and intimidate them ? Unfortunately they got the reaction they wanted from somebody who's old enough to know better .
Is it any wonder crowds are dwindling away . Hopefully Hewitson will help get this ridiculous and unacceptable behaviour of the Police sorted out ASAP . He was quick enough to react to an anonymous email last year falsely blaming fans of unacceptable singing .

This can't go on any longer

So you think the Chairman, good man that he is, can dictate how the Police should go about their business ?

It was good to hear some noise today, so why can't those involved just stick to doing that ?

In all the many years I have been going to Palmerston there has always been a Police presence close to any group that were animated in any way - it is nothing new and they are not singling out this particular group or generation !

I certainly wouldn't feel intimidated if a Police Officer was standing near me so why should anyone else ?

By the way, what evidence do you have of " bully boy antics" and intimidation ?

Heartened to hear the singing starting up today but equally concerned to see the Police reaction to it. Seemed excessive and unnecessary to me and intimidatory. Were they trying to invoke a reaction because if so they got one which is inexcusable but still appeared heavy handed. Needs to be resolved or Palmerston will continue to sound like a morgue with the exception of the inappropriate booing from some.
