Teams in the main will only need to create one chance and take it to put us 80% of the way to a defeat

Utterly desperate and shocking display from us yesterday. Toothless in attack, passing and final ball appalling and our defending was again, pathetic. The fact that some of our fans seemed to think there were signs of encouragement yesterday is just as worrying, as if the support is prepared to accept that guff then the team are let off the hook for it.

And if that wasn't bad enough, the amount of nuggets applauding that chancer Vigurs for his once a season moment of effectiveness was cringeworthy and ridiculous, especially as that wage thief ripped the utter p1sh out of us for two years by stealing a wage whilst barely breaking sweat.

I honestly despair of some of our support at times and its no wonder we're seen as a soft touch by the media and other clubs.

I don't have an issue with them applauding the goal, as I suspect most were, it was a tremendous strike no matter who scored it. It was those who applauded that @rseh

I don't take away from the goal itself, it was obviously a tremendous strike, but I hate with a passion seeing our fans applauding opposition players or goals, no matter who it is or who scored them, or indeed how good they were. Perhaps that's just me, but I have never and will never applaud or highlight a goal scored or a player playing against Motherwell. The fact that in this instance the player in question was someone who contributed little in his time here yet saw himself as some kind of billy big baws makes it even worse.

Opposition players are out to beat us and they should be getting as hard a time as possible from our fans, no matter who they are and what they did or didn't do when they played for us and as you say, Tom Boyd - as much as I have a great deal of contempt for him as he's shown us zero respect ever since leaving the club - was a cup winning captain and yet he was booed on his return to FP, as was Phil O'Donnell - a better example IMO - SK if it was good enough
