Charlton fans could hardly believe what they were seeing when the team went two goals ahead playing some beautiful counter attacking football with 2 goals scored in the space of 7 minutes by Lookman on 2 Ghoochannejhad on 5 minutes.

However Brighton roared back in the second half, as Charlton's defensive frailities crept in. James Wilson scored early on 50 minutes then after Patrick Bauer was red carded for denying a goal scoring opportunity, two quick Brighton goals followed in quick succession scored by Zamora on 83 and Hemed on 85 minutes and that was that.
