I can't believe we have signed a player and paid a fee - it seems so long! An excellent signing, but you are right we need at least one CD Robinson and Spector have done OK but it is rally not their true positions. Is that bloke we had from Swansea when Elsie was in charge and Ziggy & Caddis saved us still playing? He was OK maybe we should go get him he surely can't cost as much as Fabbrini?

That would have been Kyle Bartley, who definitely sounded like the number when he played for us. Then both he and Dan Burn (who wasn't anywhere near as good) got recalled by their teams around Christmas, and it was all down hill from there. I think he's played a handful of games for Swansea this year, but he certainly isn't a regular - so it might be worth a punt: he certainly seemed a tough b***tard.Originally Posted by aKROKiwi

Yeah Bartley that was him I thought he was the goods. agree about Burn - big slow & clumsy - enough to make youn want to run the "r" and "n" together to form one letter really. I hope we can get someone as good as Bartley though.
Shane Lowy has signed for Perth in the A League if anyone is interested. he was from there originally so really it isn't surprsing

Now it seems we have signed someone called Ryan Shotton from Derby County. It is said he call play all along the backline. he used to play for Stoke. We shall see

Ryan Shotton is at the club plays RB or CB , I think he is the one who replaced Delap at stoke as the long throw man , another string to our attacking bow perhaps
