The pitch did not cope well for the Queens game. It seems to be OK down the middle but, strangely muddy and cut up along both wings. Our players seems to be slipping and sliding and this does not suit our style of play but plays right into the hands of the physical teams in the league. With a dry week, it may cope with 3 games in 8 days - ie this week - but it will not be good to watch. Apart from the nice grass surfaces July-October, and then April-May, I think if we need to consider plastic seriously or change our style. That said, we were also crap at home early season so I'm not `blaming the pitch'
