You really are one sad little anti-English pryck who will twist history to justify their warped agenda. If it's the fault of the 'English' for all the rough stuff over the course of history, can the 'English' claim all the good things like being solely responsible for ending slavery, the industrial revolution, defeating the n@zis, countless inventions, giving the world democracy, creating the biggest sporting events in the world, dominating the world music scene at various points and so on and so on.

I reckon folk from Scotland, Wales and North and Southern Ireland might just (and rightly) pipe up to say all these were not done by the English alone, in the same

I confess on this occasion, big dildo is right (apart from the abusive bits of course...) We cannot take the credit for the great things Scots have done whilst part of the United Kingdom, without bearing some of the responsibility for some of the not so great things...

I'm afraid idiots like the tartan handbag cause more problems than solve them. Their view of the world is that all English people are rich and live in mansions, talk like Prince Charles, food banks are where we store our reserves of caviar, we all vote tory, and we all live in some place called the 'South East'. Clowns like the handbag refuse to believe that there are working class English, we have many varied regional accents, poverty is worse in parts of England than in Scotland, food banks were started in England and the busiest of these food banks are found in England, the fact is in a country of 55m you will get extremes in wealth and poverty, though the handbag only concentrates on the 15m around the South East.

I'm sure the Spanish first employed concentration camps in Cuba (circa 1899).
