I'll kick off and see if you have the answer
I had a bit of a puzzling chain of email discussion whilst trying to purchase goods from my usual supplier
But staff have been and gone and had to deal with Haydon
he got me so confused at one point in about the third email that I nearly ended up paying £20 more the original retail price, I know this as I got me calculator out

I did point his out and Haydon asked me to call him to clear up the confusion.

I emailed him again with the items and product numbers I had previously agreed a total price for all items to be £250

He turned round and said we can do a deal at £262

I said £250 sounds better

He said OK

So what's the answer
