This would be during the Harkness era when Queens seemed to be eternally in the old Division Two.

It shouldn't of come as a surprise to anyone

There's several players I'd like to see playing at Queens again next season but I'm worried a new manager coming in might not have time to see what they're like or want to start afresh with all his own players
I'd like the new manager to be retaining the best players of the current squad, with certain players moving on and no doubt replacing them with signings of his own.

I know for a fact that the decision to sack Fowler was a tortuous decision for the Palmerston hierarchy but one that was felt needed for the club going forward. These guys are doing their utmost here and I wish we could get a few more through the gate to back them up.

Cresswell , there is an old football saying that has been used by all the great bosses Shankly, Stein , Ferguson et all . I am very surprised you didn't it here when describing Fowlers signing policy. It goes along the lines of " Sign a Cowdenbeath player and you get a Cowdenbeath player ".

Derek Lyle was a Cowdenbeath player when we signed him.

on another note iv been hearing a rumour going around that wee dannys being released from hibs and could be coming back ,now he was key to our success as he was a great outlet ,the type of outlet that we have mist badly, staying up on the halfway line hugging the touchline waiting for the under pressure defence to get the ball then a quick pass out to him ,that outlet got us alot of success id defo like to see him back and the use of that outlet .
