Tuesday evening's 0-0 draw against Bolton at the Macron stadium, confirmed Charlton's relegation to league 1 following hot on the heels of their opponents who had already been relegated.

In a lack lustre game and performance, neither side was to prove a goal scoring threat although Bolton came closest and looked the more likely to score. Johnnie Jackson returned to the midfield as Captain.

The Add1cks chances came from Cousins, Vetokele, Makienok, Suk-Young, Lookman and Fanni but they were just that, chances.

It must be mentioned Pope also made an excellent save from Wheater to prevent Bolton taking the lead and has been an asset since replacing Henderson.

So the Add1cks return to League 1 after four years in the Championship but there is every chance that the Club will bounce back again under the current owners with improved player recruitment and determination and at the first attempt.
