The only quote from anyone on our Board I have seen is this tweet from Cormack today

"Stadium Update: Should the positive news that the regeneration of the beachfront, as part of a refreshed city centre masterplan, be approved & progressed, the Club is open to exploring this potential new site, but everyone involved recognises it’s still VERY early days. Thanks!"

I for one don't see anything there to be disbelieving about - do you? All they have said is they are open to exploring a site that is very much being pushed by the council (Marie Boulton). It is well known that Cormack is much more open to alternatives to Kingsford than Milne ever was. We clearly have time on our side to go and investigate this properly as due to the cash consequences of covid Kingsford will not happen for the next 2-3 years anyway, if not longer, even if there was an appetite to progress it.

There may be valid reasons why the site can't be used (is it big enough? will we get planning permission? what would the financial deal with the council be? etc etc) but there is absolutely no reason why we can't spend a bit of money on a proper feasibility study to see if this would be possible as there are just so many good reasons why this site would be infinitely better than Westhill or even staying at Pittodrie.

Aye, nae bad, I like that single tier stand behind the goals, presumably for home fans.

It’s fantastic that the £13m spent on the training facilities didn’t include having an indoor pitch to deal with the snowy conditions. Another piece of forward thinking from our board.

Based on the last 8 matches maybe a mass snowball fight may be more beneficial to the team than whatever they are doing at training anyway

It would be too cold for our soft squad to do a bit outdoor training. They can sit inside and play their Xbox’s or similar for their training.
