    Seasons acheivements

So here we are, end of season and all those predictions that were made by the usual suspects (wheres Mongbrush ?) lets have a recap just to make sense of it all, and see who has made their targets.
Lets start with the inbreds of fratten dump, Promotion favourites, NO Title Favourites , and what do we see?, we see a team that struggled to get into the play offs in a division that is well....shi te, and having got there choked against a Plymouth club that has a better ground, bigger support, lovely pitch, and real passion amongst their supporters. What a bitter pill to have to swallow, losing their better players to bigger teams in that division next season and to then have to suffer the indignation of not even being favourites for anything apart from insolvency, tax evasion, cheating, and the worst songs in the football league, (Ner Ner Ner Ner Ner Ner Ner)

And now to the best team in Hampshire (yet again) and apparently a top Five club in the best league in the world.
    So did we

Fantastic achievement to finish at least sixth, our highest PL end of season finish with 63 points, highest points haul. At the beginning of January it didn't seem possible after a miserable run of defeats in November and through into December. Poor results against Everton, Manchester United, Stoke, Spurs, Chelsea, Aston Villa, Palace (FA Cup) and Sunderland at home, and Palace, Norwich, West Ham, Manchester City, Bournemouth and Leicester away cost us dearly and meant we could not match Leicester's consistency.
Despite all that, our form in 2016 to date has been outstanding with qualification for the Europa League earned and deserved.
    Well done Saints! Delighted !

    Points gained from opposition.
Aston Villa 4, Arsenal 4, Bournemouth 3, Chelsea 3, Crystal Palace 3, Everton 1, Leicester City 1, Liverpool 4, Manchester City 3, Manchester United 3, Newcastle United 4, Norwich City 3, Stoke City 3, Sunderland 4, Swansea City 6, Tottenham Hotspur 3, West Bromwich Albion 4, West Ham United 3, Watford 4.
First recollection of no opponents beating us twice in the league in one season.
