And what exactly happens if this new manager isn't interested in all these players

Are we going back to the Harkness era where the directors run the team ???

It could be the case that this potential new manager is not willing to take up his position unless the club can guarantee certain members of the squad being signed on for next season. It could be a move to test the intent of the club for next season.

Can't believe the club is still keeping the fans in the dark over the manager situation . There's a lot of angry and frustrated fans out there and who can blame them

Please don't call me negative as this is a point regarding the re-signing of players that may be concerning to us all. The new boss or whoever seem to have a lot of faith in a defence that conceded a lot of goals last season.

10 players contracts renewed ,thats the spine of the squad you could say im in the same camp as jr here regarding the defence ,we are prob going to need a first team squad of around 20 players this season ,so 10 still to be signed and id defo be looking for a quality central defender ,a right back ,2 wingers ,an attacking central mid and maybe a tall forward ,the rest will prob be made up through the youths .

How about Danny Lennon for the Queens job? His biggest weakness is player recruitment but we've already got half a squad signed up.
