Finally, the game has come to life, only one winner in the air there and it was Ronaldo, 1-0. Let's see what Wales have in them now.

A bit of breathing space for Portugal now, Ronaldo's shot diverted past Hennessey by Nani. They all count, 2-0.

Well done by Wales in the tournament. Can't see them coming back in this though.

Beaten by a Pub team on the way to a European championship Semi-Final only to be dumped out by a team that hadn't won a game in 90 minutes up until now.
Welcome to the real world Wales!!

Take Aaron Ramsey out of this Wales side and they look a totally different side, no real attacking threat bar Bale trying his luck from distance. A step too far tonight.

The ref couldn't wait to award France a penalty for Schweinsteiger's handball. By having your arm up, you run the risk of being penalised. I thought it was harsh, but see why the ref gave it. Griezmann with a good penalty to make it 1-0. For all Germany's dominance in the first half, the only thing that matters in football is the scoreline.

Excellent play there from Pogba in keeping the ball alive, Neuer couldn't deal with the cross, Griezmann happy with the gift that came his way, 2-0.

Germany look so tired out there. Needed to take advantage of the possession and chances they had in the first half. Penalty looked to deflate them as the second half they came out poor. Didn't wake up til after the second. And by then it was too late.

There's no way past Lloris tonight, the outfield players may take the plaudits, but he's also made a few important saves. I expected more from Germany in the second half, but the stuffing seemed to have been knocked out of them by the first half penalty award. The margin of victory could also have been greater.
