Surprised by that result. Thought Austria was a dark horse to advance far in this tournament. Obviously not too late, but they've made it much harder on themselves. This group is now wide open in terms of who advances. Great job by Hungary.

Iceland have just equalised against Portugal after Nani had scored in the first half, too much time and space for Bjarnason to score, 1-1.

1-1 finish. Iceland can't have asked for more from that match. Portugal, looking to disappoint yet again.

Caught the latter part of the first 45 minutes and Portugal ran rings round them, but I was delighted to see Iceland pull out all the stops in the second half - came out fighting and could have even nicked it, but they'll be happy with a draw. I was dreading the giraffe-necked Portugese cheat burying that final free kick in the back of the net in the dying seconds but fortunately it didn't happen.

Rinaldo again showing what a spoilt player can be. His classless interview and failure to shake hands with the opposition sums him up.

Yes, I found Ronaldo's criticism of Iceland for having a "small mentality" unintentionally ironic.

Iceland's population is around 330k. Which is 200k less than Portugal's capital, Lisbon. And the fact that this is their first major tournament, shouldn't they be really happy that they got their first point (and against the second best player in the world, to boot)?

He predicted that they won't go far because of their mentality. Well Ronaldo, when was the last time that you went far in an international tournament? Let's see, out in the group stage in 2014, QF in 2012, Round of 16 in 2010, QF in 2008....All the way back to the semis of the WC in 2006 and runner up in Euro 2004. Both when he wasn't quite the focal point of his national team as he is now. Not sure Iceland are who should be criticized for having a small mentality. A small mentality is taking potshots at someone smaller than you.

Slovakia take the lead against Russia, keeper no chance with Weiss's effort, quality ball that put him in on goal.

A second goal for Slovakia, Hamsik giving the keeper no chance, again beaten at his far post. Two Russian defenders near the scorer not doing enough to stop him cutting inside.

It was good to see Slovakia hold out after conceding a late goal, the result just make me think of the opportunity squandered by England against Russia.

Romania 1-0 up against Switzerland, penalty awarded for a shirt pull, keeper no chance with Stancu's penalty.
