    Irvine walking/leaving

Oh dear, seems a bit odd in terms of timing.
If he's been poached that's one thing. Alternatively given his parting statement, it seems more like a power struggle.
I would hate to think that yet again someone has promised something and then its been reneged upon.

What concerns me is not Irvine leaving but the fact its after the first day of training
this makes me ponder is it coyles training techniques or the fact he isn't in agreement with Irvine over his training style.
a worry for who will follow him out the door and who we have set to come in
if it's to be the old guard of coyles then prehistoric football could return to Ewood at least with Irvine at number 2 there was a chance of a plan b if it was failing with original plan.

What a sad day for Rovers.. Irvine is a good coach, seems like he doesn't like the way Judas operates ..

Could just be simple cost cutting. Who knows?
Maybe Coyle has someone else in mind. Maybe they will promote from within.
Say they have an overall budget, it could be a decision on shall we bring in players, and cut back in other areas?
Like say the numerous coaching staff. Lambert had lots of experience sat with him last season, it didn't particularly show.

    Am I missing something here?
Irvine has left? May I ask what exactly we'll be missing?
I'd argue he added nothing much at all last season, or did I imagine that awful season, with awful performances that culminated in our lowest league position in years. I'd say the foundations where already built on quicksand.

Oh and shock horror, here come the Burnely fans to call him Judas etc.

Sorry but this smacks of the normal overreactions. And history being changed.
This is no different to ......

    Grant Hanley is ****e.
    He's not a defender.
    He is clueless.
    I could do better.
Why does the manager keep picking him?
    He isn't a footballer.

....someone's bid £1.5m for him? That a disgrace.
    He is worth £10m.
    He is our captain!
    Player of the season......

Seems a huge overreaction to me. We like that though at Rovers

Every reaction is based on what is viewed through somebody's eyes
one fan may overreact to Brown and boo him because of his inability to score others clapped his effort

Hanley was crap the season before his apparent Burnley interest I viewed with my own eyes and many others he follows that with the player of the season
Rightfully so he has been brilliant so 1.5 million was a joke offer from a joke team not a overreaction just a genuine observation

We have just lost Irvine one training session in
I have stated it's not his leaving that bothers me just what comes next
Coyle has always stood by Sandy
has that been a successful partnership?
Just the once that is also not an overreaction just a genuine observation.

Correct robin..Hanley was garbage that season, and was quite rightly singled out as being so.
Hanleys career has been just that... inconsistent...and probably always will
    be.
