I've noticed over the past 24 hours that Wolves have been linked to a couple of Portuguese players, Ivan Cavaleiro and Helder Costa, we will see if there's any truth in the ongoing saga.

Let us hope the outcome of all this speculation will be a LI rather than a lie. I'm not about to get too carried away, but think how good it would be if, once again, our main source of 'Wolves Pride' was in the team we are and not just because of the team we once were. Surely, our return to the upper echelon is long overdue and I salivate at the thought.

If it does happen, and really hope it does. I won't expect bucket loads of money to be spent, or a completely new team assembled overnight. It will take time. We have to remember, quite a few sides in the championship in the last few seasons have been taken over, some have had success, but the likes of Derby and Forest still remain in the same division as Wolves.

I agree with you '71, but it does seem that there might be a lot more money available in our case.

That may be true but there's still the FFP to adhere too.

As we all look forward to hopefully a new owner and a new era for Wolves, it was good to read the article below.

Albert and Muriel, pictured in the photo ran the supporters club i first travelled away with, from the yellow hut on the old north bank car park.

I went to primary school with Kelvin Bates, Woodfield Avenue.

He always had a snotty nose

Funny how you remember those things.

Apparently "official documents" have been sent to the FA, allowing Wolves and Li to start taking more steps toward the takeover. So I think we can start to get our hopes up a little?
