In two year's time, I expect to read the headline: You Can Go Home Again: Wolves Hire Failed England Manager

My thoughts exactly. Good luck to him. If he can't straighten the lazy barstewards out no one can.

Once again, and only in a matter of days, the FA have covered themselves in glory.

First they totally disrupt Sunderlands pre season plans by interviewing ol' medicine ball head, then they make the announcement minutes before Sunderlands pre season warm up against Hartlepool this evening.

    The mackems must love em.

    Sheer class, the FA.

I hope that Rufus, Fat Sam, Big Sam, Medicineballhead, Bulldog McBulldog Face, finally gets England to give the country some pride back in the national team.

Eventually someone will, and I would rather have an Englishman get the big bucks and the plaudits than some Johnny Foreigner.

He has served his dues in the league so deserves a shot.

Given his place of birth, has it ever been revealed what local team he supported as a youth.?

Confirmation of his appointment in link below, an initial two year deal. It will be a different type of pressure for him now.
