Did you put him right by pointing out that Everton (St Domingoes) were founded by parishioners from a Methodist church (St Domingoes) and that Methodism is a denomination of the protestant church, or did you point out that because Everton signed a few ROI internationals in the 1950's that this led some to think they had catholic leanings, or did you point out that in most cases fans of Everton and Liverpool (from the merseyside area) could not give a flying fcuk about religion.....
