    My motives for 'breaking up the union' is I believe the people who live and work in Scotland are the best ones to make the decisions about our country and a little principal that every other country in Europe outside the UK take for granted, we should get the governments we vote for. I thought that is obvious. What do you think my motives are?

    The "imagined scenario" is relevant here, had Scotland voted Yes and the Unionists took to the streets there would be calls to ban them, heavy handed policing and demands for them to accept the decision, it would also have meant Scotland would have been out of the EU, yet this is now the reason for a second referendum we are told.
