Coyle obviously didn't think hendrie was ready but sticking a right back in that role didn't work
Henley got tore a new one on at least 2 of the goals
now this is not me showing a dislike to Henley as I feel he has potential at RIGHT BACK
priorities need to be finding someone decent/ok for that role otherwise teams will soon find out that's the area to exploit.

I couldn`t believe the line up I saw before the game, especially seeing Henley at LB. Why sign 6 players and play only 2. Coyle has bulled Byrne up to be something special and then doesn`t pick him. Why ??
We have a left back in Hendrie another new signing, why not play him ?
Team for Mansfield and Wigan if all are fit .

Henley the worst left-back Ive ever seen play for Rovers.

But this is nothing new. Anyone who saw our display in last seasons F.A.Cup against West Ham saw him torn to shreds then,as was Ward who is a lot older. Obviously no one thought to tell Coyle how poor they are against superior opposition.
At least the new players put up some sought of contribution with Stokes scoring,Byrne,Feeney & Greer moderately influential.But by that time the damage was already done.

With regards to team selection,Hendrie has to be better on the law of averages,even maybe Jack Doyle is. Dont think we can afford to play Greer against Mansfield,or Graham,with injury concerns on such a tiny squad. For me,put Lenihan in as make-shift central defender and give young Mansell a go up top(only against Mansfield mind).
