From what Brooking has said it looks like they have already made their minds up and Southgate has the England job.
I'm going to say this now-I wish he could be swayed to the Wolves job instead of our 'one trick pony' (hard work) manager Walter Zenga. Thank God for Bodvarrson,

He would have brought stability to a club that was in a downward spiral.
I would have thought so, but we will never know now how it would have worked out with Morgan owning the club. A shambolic time in Wolves history directly after McCarthy got the boot. But Wolves are free of him now.

Steve Bruce has been confirmed as the new Villa manager, just in time for our game on Saturday. It's difficult to see how much of an involvement he'll have for the game, but all the players will want to impress.

Who knows what will happen on Saturday evening?
Depends on which Wolves turn up I suppose. The appointment of Steve 'Valentino' Bruce may perk up the players enough to beat us or Villa may show they simply aren't good enough.

By the way, your post was eloquently written '71.

Compare it to the foul mouthed bully's effort on the Sandwell board to show you how lucky you are in life

I hope it's the latter, the Villa side that are struggling.

I've read the thread on sandwell mad, he never fails to get his point across, so much class and respect to other teams and their fans.

After the last 2 games I pray Southgate hasn't got the job

Saturday's match will certainly be intriguing. Apart from what effect Steve Bruce's arrival may have on the Villa, it will be interesting to see if Walter will accommodate both Dicko and the Bod in his line-up. If he doesn't cope with that one he will be on a 'downer' in my estimation. 4-1-3-2 doesn't seem to fit his game plan.

What a statistic, Bruce will be their sixth manager in 20 months, Insane!
