A journey of a thousand miles.....

    ....Begins with a single step!

Well done lads, a start that we needed! It may not have been the most comprehensive but it's 3 points gained. We all know there is a lot to work on both with the team and Mac but this is what we needed...

Great to see Bradley Johnson getting back to the player he was when he joined us...

First game this season I got excited about and enjoyed, even if it was backs to the walls towards the end!

Good win despite the average performance. We need to start scoring though, can't keep relying on 1-0s with this team, its just not their style, their an attacking outfit, and hanging on to 1-0 leads isn't in them, we've dropped 4 points in stoppage time alone this season from 1-0.

Quite right and just think we could have lost 6-1 under a newly appointed manager - although there are some on this board that would be delighted if that had happened

None of us wants to see us lose 6-1 ffs

Just because we've been critical of Mel Morris doesn't mean we want to lose, maybe our frustrations with Morris show that??

Are you sure? It's clear from reading much of the stuff written on this board that there are some posters who are more interested in seeing their predictions of doom and gloom come to fruition, thus enhancing their own self proclaimed talents as football sages, than seeing the team prosper on the pitch. Constantly harking back, highlighting comments they made in the past that occasionally fit with present circumstances but never bringing up all the predictions they made that have proved to be totally misguided. Well reasoned criticism of the club's activities, in all areas, form a good basis for discussions on forums like this but some of the stuff that's written is just mischievous and malicious.

To be fair Rats not made a prediction or done anything other than post some mischief and then mysteriously disappear when challenged for months now!!!

Absolutely right though FT, one poster seems to delight in name calling a local owner who has put his own cash into the club FFS!
