I think you've only got to look on the England forum to see what a wonderful gent he was.The regulars on there named their prediction league in honour of Tundra.

I miss Tundra on here an awful lot.

Thats right Newcy, I think it was a very nice touch to name the England mad preds league after Tundra.

I like the Cubs. Stems from watching Brewster Millions. The legend Richard Pryor wore a cubbies shirt. I believe he was a real fan? Can't believe such a great club has gone so long without success. Not a massive baseball fan. American Football is my thing. Ice hockey too. Like the Red Wings in hockey.

Anyway, Cubs are 2-1 down in the series. Won 5-1 after a 0-6 hammering. The last game was close, 0-1 Cleveland.

Down 3-1 in the series now, after a 7-2 thumping at Wrigley. It's all but over. To come back they would have to win tomorrow and beat the Indians in the two final games at Cleveland. I'm expecting it to end tomorrow night. Still, the Cubs are full of surprises.

Anyway, it has been fun and shows how far the club has come in recent years. A 71 year World Series drought has lifted, and even if it takes a few more seasons, the Curse of the Billy Goat must eventually end (look that up if you're curious).

I did see the result. Dissapointing, but like you say, you never know with the Cubs! All my fingers and toes will be crossed for them to comeback. Cubs have show they can beat them so you never know?!

Will look up Billy the Goat!

Against all odds, the Cubs have won the last two to even the series. It's all down to game 7, starting in one hour. No idea how this will end!

If Kluber gets the win tonight for Cleveland, he will be the first pitcher to win three starts in the World Series since Mickey Lolich of the Detroit Tigers did it in 1968.

Hoping the Cubs pull off the comeback so I can laugh at my Cleveland relatives' tears. Cleveland - the mistake by the lake.

Come on you Cubbies!!! Got to hit the sack now as I am knackered. It's close but somehow I think when I wake up tomorrow Chicago will be El Campione. Fingers crossed.
