A day in the life of....a Football fan!

    Hi all,

I recently dragged my Girlfriend to her first ever footie match. As she is studying journalism she did up an article of her experience. Please give it a read below! And it could be your ground we visit soon enough. Cheers

Hi Irish Baggie and Jenny, well I enjoyed what you wrote about the 1st match you attended, it looks as though you may be hooked with the footie bug and as you say a great deal is about the supporters, home and away. Boy ! how did you manage to scoff that kingsize burger?

If you ever do come down to Millwall it's quite peaceful these days despite the club'.s reputation. The Lions fans make a particular noise called the Monk's chant or as I call it the Lions roar. It is unlike any other club chant. By the way we beat the Baggies under23's a couple of weeks back.

I think you have a future in journalism, it was a good piece you wrote. At this present time I have a book on sale on Amazon called "A Piece the Action".by Graham Price It's not about football. Good luck to the Baggies.

Hey Claw I never knew that you were into journalism like that, and that you have a book out on Amazon etc.
    Nice one!!

Despite any differences that we all might have on Footymad, its odd isnt it to think that we do still all have something in common on an English Satdy afternoon at 3pm.

Thanks for the replies lads, with regards to my book it would seem I have sold more in Australia and the US than in this country, mind you I do have family in Aus. Still strange though.
