Speaking of Glasgow why are COVID cases dropping everywhere in Scotland apart from the Glasgow area?

Still averaging 200 odd cases a day.

Do you lot not bother listening to your leader?

Too much soap dodging and not enough social distancing down there by the looks of it

The arguement that the big boys from over there done it (every Saturday) is preposterous.

If most Glaswegians don't give a flock about football why do the authorities insist it is the centre of Scottish Football and do all they can, including breaking their rules, to ensure it stays (in their eyes) that way?
I liked your arguement. Sturgeon and the Huns are in a pact

I'm actually going to agree with you here Mason. Aberdeen get more fans coming to Pittodrie on match days from outwith the city than they do from the city which is exactly the same as Glasgow as more Celtic and Rangers fans travel from outwith Glasgow to Celtic Park and Ibrox. I used to spend a lot of time in Glasgow when I was younger and it really is a completely different city on match days compared to non matchdays.
Also I may be wrong but here in Aberdeen election turnouts are much higher than they are in Glasgow. And there must be plenty of Aberdeen fans who mump and moan about Rangers fans' bigotry and unionist beliefs but who themselves will have voted Tory at recent elections going by how well the Tories did in North East Scotland in recent years..

You’re going off on a tangent there.

It's all gone quiet about the Sevco players party. Another thing to be swept under Scottish football's bulging carpet.

In addition, Govan has at least one foot in the historical heavy industries realm .... that hotbed of union solidarity and at least the potential of 'action', and a place where Socialists were nae likely tae be 'run out of town' withoot havin a 'crew' to back them up.

Ah reckon fitba, colours, and flags for some is a poor modern day substitute for 'real' struggles in livin memory ... where 'Up the Workers' has been Chinese whispered intae 'We are the People', 'No Surrender' is the reader's digest' summary of the Arbroath Declaration, and all defiance against oppressive forces, rather than a call to action have been funnelled intae '**** the Pope' .. cos there's nae chance they will ever hae the opportunity tae further that cause in any real fashion.

Outside the 'Big Hoose' however, Ah'd wager there are forces bigger and mair established than 'the establishment' that influence votin trends and 'loyalties'.
