    7th shortest test match ever.

Nobody knows how to bat properly any more. I blame too much one day cricket.

You could eat your breakfast off that outfield at Lord’s.

Nae idea. This is a satellite-free dwelling. **** sports-thieving Sky and the cuddy on which it rode into town.

BBC2 has an hour of highlights at 1900 which is better than:

    - nothing
    - selling out to those Thatcherite TV ****s
    - the bland People’s Friend-like pish of The One Show

Aye but you can stream it free, and as long as you promise never ever to buy something you see advertised, then it really is free.

F’uck Murdoch and all who pay him.

I hope to **** the rain goes off soon. At 111 I’ve been keeping my feet up since stumps last night, and if I don’t turn the sprinkler on to my tatties, ingins and peas soon, that ******* camel will be raxing off the ootside tap again.

Dickie Bird must be rotating in this grave ( I presume he’s deid)

    Christ , he’s still alive.......sorry pal.

Although, thinking about it now, it was the boy Shepherd who was the superstitious one.

Celebrity Antiques Road Trip on the Cooncil TV+ guide instead of the Lord’s wash-out.

I hope it’s a Windsor Davies/Donald Sinden roup-off. Never The Twain was splendid art, when ITV led the world in its far-seeing, revolutionary commissioning and programming.
