Having right wing Tory Governments we didn't vote for for the next 20-odd years.

All during the 2014 referendum the Naesayers conceded Scotland had the people and resources to run their own affairs successfully. Their argument was that we were ""Better Together""

What you must really get your head around Noah is Independence is NOT about the SNP its about the people of Scotland having the right to make choices. One day I really hope you come around to that way of thinking.. I really do. Until then you are ruled by another country that is the reality.
    Which Scottish parties want independence?

The SNP are just a means to an end. I honestly think when Independence happens they will split. You really don't have to be a SNP member or voter to want Independence. You dont even have to like them like yersel. Many thousands of Labour voters/supporters voted Yes in 2014. I myself was amazed at the amount of non SNP folk I campaigned with in 2014. For sure there are loads of Unionists who dont want Indy as a principle irrespective of any benefits it would bring. I have always had the feeling about you that you're not anti-Independence per say. You just can't stand the SNP and thats a great pity as it obscures any vision of how things could be.

Never mind, we’ve got control of income tax so we can raise them as much as is needed to benefit the poor in Scotland.

You don't really have a scooby do you. We have very limited tax raising powers. the Scottish government will not be able to do is alter the rates of National Insurance and VAT, which are the two big sources of revenue, along with income tax. No control of corporation tax. Even with the new powers Westminster still control 70% of Scotland's finances. Walloper you may be happy with scraps and morsels from the Unionist table I'm not .

the 2 parties that currently form the majority in the Scottish parliament - SNP and The Greens. Independence also has the support of socialists and many thousands of people who do not see themselves as alligned to any political party.

Now I too would like an answer to the original question.

I’m glad. Otherwise we would have fat cat global conglomerates basing themselves in Scotland paying a pittance in tax and leaching off the backs of ordinary hard working Scots.

Remember Alex Salmond offered to out-Osbourne Osbourne on corporation tax in 2014.
