    Atmopshere at games

Hi my name is Ben McCarthy. I am in my final year at Manchester Metropolitan University. As part of my final year I am conducting a research project into the sport I love, football. In particular I am looking into the atmosphere at football games, something I believe is very important to the match day experience. I am looking to compile a large collection of data of the opinions of fans on this topic. I am looking to do this through a survey, the link of which is posted below. It should only take 5-10 mins complete and completing It would be greatly appreciated. Any suggestions for improvements to my survey also would be great.

    Thanks for your time

Tell me please, what possible value to anyone could such research report be? This seems like yet another example of the way we are overeducating people for the sake of it at secong rate colleges of further education.

FFS...he's just a guy doing some research. What harm can it do? Maybe such research could ultimately result in better facilities/matchday experiences. Think MMU is the old Manchester Poly anyway Roger...hardly an FE College.

Have you read the questions Mangara? Does singing improve the atmosphere? Is a bigger crowd better for atmosphere? Its like a 3 year old wrote it. Does not address facilities or match day experience at all....

Hi sorry if the survey seems a bit pointless its part of a bigger research project into football stadium designs. I thought like the atmosphere of grounds is a major factor in the success of a stadium, and should play a big influence on its design. I know what i think makes a good atmosphere at grounds, just wanted to see what other fans thought aswell. I didnt want to put it into much detail just for time concerns. Thanks

Too much information. I always prefer the Night Nurse.

Don't apologise Ben...they're a pair of grumpy sods with or without a cold and Derby dropping two points.
