Man Utd are like us in they weren’t very good before Fergie arrived and they are never going to be as good since he left.
Some of our fans still can’t accept that so god knows how long it’s going to take their fans to realise that.
So that's two clubs he's ruined?
I think Fergie is a legend but it’s never going to be as good as it was when he was manager.
A lot of fans can’t accept that.
Fergie wouldn't have accepted that way of thinking.
All that happened was that we proved it could be done, so of course it can be done again.
Don't give me all the financial crap, we were always a small club, always miles financially behind the Tims and the old Huns, never mind Bayern Munich and Real Madrid.
That's not to say that I think it will happen again, only that it's possible, so keep trying.
You don't think the financial gap has widened a ****sie bit since Fergie's time?
Just a smidgen?
Football is about kicking a ball.

Its a pro rata kinda thing surely, But you are probably right given the rewards for qualifying for the ECL are much increased. You've got to ask also even if we had a great winning side doing the bizz what sort of average crowd could we expect ? Be luck to get 18.000. The general apathy for our club in this City/area will always stop us progressing, Its a sh1te state O affairs as they say.
