That’s what we like to see. Be good to have a few clubs bidding for him in the summer…trying to get a replacement is the more difficult part.

That's why he only added £5 million. If it was a top team, it would have been 15 million added to the price.

Richard Gordon’s P&J column today is made up of two pieces, one about Scotland, whoever they are, and one about Baz being gaffer until the end of the season. Not once does he use the pronouns ‘we’ or ‘us’ in the latter. Quite different from the way in which he describes Sevcove, who, bizarrely, are not even given a syllable or phoneme among his well thought-out words.

After Arbroath beating Ayr last night, the fishing village huns are now in second bottom place, five points behind the Lichties with both having 6 games left. Accies are a point behind Moorhouse’s Misfits, 9 goals better off, and still have 8 matches left.

Partick Thistle visit Cove (not in Cove) today, and are in a battle for a play-off place themselves. 5 or 6 nil will do, Jags.

Looking ahead a couple of seasons , will the Highland League be obliged to accept the Cove huns back into the fold when they lose the end of season play-off against the successful Highland/Lowland League champions ?

I suppose it would, although there’s the usual spikk of further reconstruction which would effectively move the Highland League down a tier. The consensus from current HL clubs is to tell the authorities to go and fück themselves.

To see the Fishing Village Idiots come slithering back would be wonderful karma.

Don’t think they will suffer relegation out of the SPFL leagues. But it would (will) be magic to see them relegated this season. A horrible little club.

Is our erstwhile PR guru's husband ("Alexa, play Penny Arcade" lest we need reminding of her parental deficiency) nae involved with Sevcove?

I'm sure he's Sevconian to a "balls deep in the goat" level.
