    Now then Fowls
What are the expectations from Sam Winnall now that you've signed him from us for yet another 'Undisclosed' fee ?
Dont expect him to turn out to be another David Hirst, he was just a one-off!!

For me there are no expectations, that's what kills you in football, expectation.

I honestly couldn't have cared less if we signed Winnall or not, now that he's here I hope he does well, that's it.

As for David Hirst, he was a joy to behold & I definitely don't expect we'll ever land another one like him.

Completely agree with Aussie, nobody is expecting him to be the new Hirsty.

Winnall had a tidy enough debut, his touch looked good and had he been a bit sharper he might have had a debut goal.

It was a signing that nobody really expected before the transfer window opened, in todays inflated market the price was one that means he is not a risk for us so we can just give him a chance and see how he goes.

    agree, no risk signing.
as for being the next hirst, no one expected hirst to be the first hirst when he first signed.
the only pressure on winnall is that to keep his place in the team he must produce, which i suspect is why carlos bought him (competition for places).

Exactly this & now that Rhodes is here as well all the main strikers need to be at their best.
