Surely due a testimonial?

My gut feeling is that if we lose tomorrow Robinson will walk away, just hope that we don't have to face that situation and we get a result that allows us to kick on from.

Walk away? Why, and where the hell to? Wasn't exactly a roaring success at Oldham, and who'd take someone on who's failed at 1 club then ditched his role at another within 3 weeks of rejoining? Just saying ...

I know his name gets mentioned every time we are looking for a manager but just what has Luc Nijholt done to suggest that he is the right man for the job? What are his credentials in management? We have been burned in the past going down the inexperienced route and I don't see a Nijholt appointment being any different to be honest. I'm afraid playing for the club previously isn't enough to justify giving him the managers job.

As for Coyle doubt we'd be able to match his demands and to be quite honest, the last thing we need right now on the back of McGhee is another self important, Celtic loving media darling who would see himself as too good for the club. So Coyle is a no for me as well.

Personally I would be looking at Jimmy Calderwood to the end of the season.
I would agree Coyle beyond our salary and Nijholt and Valakari are simply names of past players and mentioned cos their foreign. As for Jimmy Calderwood .. give us a break LSM as you alone continually post his name as a successor. It will never happen as he’s had many years to make return to football and always ignored and perhaps for good reason (?) …. he has Rangers themed room in his home
How does this sit with yourself or do you favour a Rangers loving media darling

Nijholt I agree, Valakari got a team promoted, and won two cups and the championship with them in addition to having his playing experience of Scotland and England. It's a record which has earned the chance to step up somewhere, even if not with us, to see if he can cut it at the next level.

I'd have been thrilled with Calderwood when he left Aberdeen but that's now a long, long time ago and he's hardly done anything since. Whether he can't be arsed any more or not I've no idea but there's clearly a reason of some sort for his career hitting a brick wall and I seriously doubt we'll be the ones who change that now.
