Really! I mean no offence (in particular), to Mr Yogi Hughes, but F-F-S, why would we put in place another fekkin cronie of the Scottish gravy train of frequently SACKED managers? If the board appoint him I might even drive to Brighton and bring Magoo back up the road. C'mon tae fekk !!

Regardless who the successful candidate .. there will be some who will continue their moaning of person(s) in charge. A few forum names spring to mind but TWO are so predictable, shan't name but you both know who you are !
Myself.. would welcome either Hughes or Duffy as both have experience Scottish game and unlike Valakari would not be affected Brexit.

I don't think Hughes or Duffy would bring much to Fir Park and they're part of the Old Boys network. Simo Valakari - a bit of an unknown quantity. Yes, he's done well in Finland but Ian Baraclough did well in Ireland and we all know how that turned out.

That said, Hughes and Duffy may not be in the running at all. A number of rumours so far but very few facts.

I assume I'm one of the TWO you refer to and if so, I will give my full backing to whoever is given the job and will give them both credit and criticism when they are due.

The only time I would not fully back a Motherwell manager would be if they clearly weren't up to the job and results weren't good enough but I will always give them a chance to prove themselves. The only managerial appointment I can remember us making that i have been totally against from the get go was McGhee second time around, because that man had treated the club with contempt during his previous spell and had dined out on one good season with us the best part of a decade. I said when he was appointed that he was no good for us, and that he would once again put himself before the club and i was proved correct on both counts.

Anyway that's done with, and if John Hughes was to get the job I would give him my backing. He wouldn't be my first choice but I'd take him ahead of Valakari.

Anyway, the rumour i heard today was that Michael Higdon was spotted in the club shop today. Maybe he's the new gaffer.

Both Duffy and Hughes are in jobs so we would have to pay compensation something I can't see happening

Not my Job to know all available candidates but if we appoint another one of the "merry go rounders" we will get the same old Scottish defeatist "get your excuses in early" sh1te that infests the Scottish Football mentality
