    Take care Steve

He did his best and at least gave us a nice run and hope that we could do it, which when he took over we were perilously close to the bottom 3.

Nice bloke, nothing to dislike about him. Crap manager but hey ho so am I!! Should never have been re-appointed, that's Mel's fault not Steve's. Stick to punditry Steve!!

Football isn't an exact science, if it was every team would be the same and games would all finish 0-0, Mel bought mac back based on his last stint and thought it would work, if you don't try you'll never know, can't blame Mel for trying, is rowett the man for the job; who knows but if you don't try you'll never know. Rat man says rowett isn't proven and has done nothing, compared to Alex ferguson that might be true but what had ferguson done before manure?

Neither had Rats beloved Clough jnr though at least Rowett has managed in league 1 and the championship which is more than Nige had before he was appointed.

All managerial appointments are a gamble, I expected Pearson to be a success, he had the track record, I wouldn't mind Pardew but Rowett if appointed needs to be set targets and timescales and then left to manage the football side of things. xx

Can't disagree too much with that mac...it's a bit sickening to think quite how much he must have made over the last two years out of being 'crap' though. At least £5m for three seasons of failure from 2014-15 onwards I'd suspect.

'Under Ferguson's guidance, the club won three league championships, four Scottish Cups, the European Cup Winner's Cup, the European Super Cup, a League Cup, and a Drybrough Cup—all in the space of seven years.' Source Wikipaedia
