Derby County in danger of having the worst season in six years.

The last time we finished a campaign further away from a top-six spot was back in 2010-11.

That season, under manager Nigel Clough, the Rams ended up 19th in the table. They were seven points above the relegation zone and 26 away from the play-offs.

In the past three years Derby, have reached the play-offs twice, either side of finishing one point outside the top six in 2015.

In 2012-13, they were 10th- seven points away from a play-off place.

That was an improvement on 2011-12, when the Rams finished 12th - 11th points adrift of the top six.

Derby round off their 2016-17 campaign with a final home game against Wolverhampton Wanderers on Saturday (3pm) and a trip to Rotherham United on Sunday, May 7th (12pm).

They could still finish as high as eighth - or as low as 14th - depending on results.

How Derby Are In Danger Of Suffering Their Worst Season In Six Seasons:

    • 2016-17: 10th - 13pts outside top six (with two games left)
    • 2015-16: 5th - reached the play-offs
    • 2014-15: 8th - 1pt outside top six
    • 2013-14: 3rd - reached the play-offs
    • 2012-13: 10th - 7pts outside top six
    • 2011-12: 12th - 11pts outside top six
    • 2010-11: 19th - 26pts outside top six

Overall goes to show what we already know, how very inconsistent our club is.

Au contraire, that shows me how consistent we are - repeatedly flattering to deceive.

Another DT reprint I guess? "They" and not "We" ???

Isn't it a breach of copyright to reprint exactly what another publication has printed? One can quote extracts but not the whole ****ing piece!

Thereare certain "fair dealing" concepts under the The 1988 Copyright, Designs and Patents Act which allow copying of the IP etc of others but I do not believe they are dependent on making money from the "theft". I would recommend consulting a lawyer if anyone wishes to copy the works of others without attribution.

Guy's you are not supposed to repeat any article in its entirety on this forum. Most writers take a dim view of their work being repeated without full accreditation being given. So can we please stop the copying of articles on this forum please..........................I will be checking

If anyone on here was to use someones work and use it for royalties, then they would be breaching the copyright act.

I think the newspapers would want you to share the news as long as you are not getting royalties out of it and are quoting the newspaper so that people know who made it, and that person gets the royalties because that's what they aim for, to get the message across to everyone.
