    So what you're saying Frank is that East Angular is full of Pikeys?

    I ofn't heard Pents accent but can confirm that the boy Andover sounds an bit like an Ooo Arrr farmer. It's all the same area so I assume Pents sounds like an bumpkin too.

    That is indeed an interesting fact if its true Pents,what was they known as before then?

    The Nottingham accent is obviously a something of a soft spoken beauty being situated right in the middle of the country we laugh at both northerners and southerners accents

    Straight from the QI elves Chalks.
    I'm guessing either, Norsemen or North Men. Normandy and the Normans that settled it were Vikings.

    I like QI but you can't believe all it says,I can remember one episode where it stated that Richard the third didn't have a curved back in real life and it was all propaganda, then they found his body and he did had a curved back
