O/T Uruguay

We are about to witness a massive worldwide change my friends courtesy of Uruguay. They have taken the very bold decision to become the first country in the world to legally start selling marijuana for recreational use, using crops harvested in state supervised fields. They will regulate strength of potency, and the cost is an eye watering £10 for just over half an ounce.

The aim of this sea change is to stop the illegal trade in marijuana and put drug dealers out of business, and also collect taxes from sales.

I raised this topic and tabled this very suggestion that this was the way to go on these very boards almost 5 years ago, and am so glad that someone in Uruguay listened to me FACT

Think of the economic boom this could bring to a small country like Uruguay. Tourism will skyrocket just because people can have a wee joint while walking about, food chains will be flocking to set up business.
Imagine how much better the world would be if people were just a bit stoned.
But as we are on a football forum I would think the standard would drop drastically.
However nobody would care!
