    The Irish Problem

No, not with our team, no problem with having five internationals, but how WILL the Irish border issue be sorted?

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-northern-ireland-40819687

People voted to end free movement of people into the EU - and that obviously included Ireland. And with us intent on leaving the Customs Union and Single Market it leaves a really big problem.

Logically there must be a hard border between North and South. Otherwise people from the South could just enter Northern Ireland and then be free to travel within the UK. And if we are not part of the Single market/Customs Union then there must be a hard border to deal with import/export controls.

With the Northern Ireland Assembly in limbo the Northern irish have no voice in any of this.

I don't think that many want a hard border but what is the alternative?

I don't care for the Tories BT but this is a direct consequence of the Brexit vote.

Which clown triggered a Brexit referendum and encouraged this lot to hold the balance of political power?

I don't believe its because of the Brexit vote 59_60, I believe its the fault of Parties from both sides not being honest with reasons before the vote on leaving and staying, follow that by Teresa May leading the leaving process right now (Failed as Home Secretary and Failing now as PM) after always being a remain campaigner, we think the Political fiasco across the pond in America is diabolical, its just as bad if not worse here, as BT states they are not fit for purpose.

That this would be a major problem was flagged up long before the referendum, it's been pondered over by the great and good for ages now, and no one seems any nearer to an answer. You can't really expect half a dozen football fans on a msgboard to sort this out 59-60, it's what we pay politicians and civil servants for isn't it, and the sooner they stop their infantile squabbling and point scoring, the sooner a solution will be found.

Indeed BT, they are not fit run a tea shop, never mind a government, as was amply demonstrated by their desire to remain in the dysfunctional, corrupt EU.

Don't worry about it, you have no control over any of it. You cast your vote and it has been decreed by the people that we leave the EU and we must deal with whatever that involves once the deliberations and discussions have been finished.
The strategy for staying or leaving was never thought through once the referendum had been announced, much like the aftermath of invading foreign countries to try to democratise them was never thought through.
We will just continue to bimble along from crisis to crisis and we will just have to get on with it. C'est la vie!

    Great word is "bimble"!

The sun is shining. The Chablis is suitably chilled. It's now time to bimble off for a relaxing afternoon, sitting on my chair in the garden!

All right for some, I'm just about to get the lawn mower out now it's finally stopped raining. It's like a jungle out there, could be snakes or anything in it.
