Heres our results stats so far...
    HOME: Pld 5, W 2, D 1, L 2, (7-7).
    AWAY: Pld 5, W 1, D 1, L 3, (6-8).

    TOTAL: Pld 10, W 3, D 2, L 5, (13-15). Pts 11, Pos 18th.

It sounded like the formation worked perfectly today and yes I agree it sounded like it worked and deserved a draw last week at Wolves. I think the strikers are our main concern of course but if those 2 goals have given Bradshaw a confidence boost, then thats a good thing. And what pleases me most other than the result today, is Thiam got to play the last 20+ minutes and he stepped up to take and score the pen. Fingers crossed, Ive got hopes for this kid and I think he really does have goals in him.
If we finish 18th ill be made up. The turnover of players Heckys had to cope with is nearly impossible. I like Thiam. Think he could be a gem. I think we need to be a bit more flexible with our system. Some teams have been tbere for the taking but weve been a bit negative but baring that ive no complaints so far. UTR!!

Agreed Matty , I think yesterday's result has given everyone a lift and it's a shame we've got to sit on our hands for a fortnight whilst the country's muppets embarrass us once again .

Im hoping we've got something decent in Thiam as well, even though he still looks like he could do with losing a few quid!!.
I agree with the thing about 'if only we hadnt been so negative etc' and the Wolves game is an example of that. But hindsight is a wonderful thing, I suppose we cant blame him for going 1 up front there as they're a top 3 team.
Why though did the line up put us 1-2 ahead yesterday when we normally cant score when playing it.

Because there are several ways of playing it , two sitting or maybe one , one pushed on just behind Bradshaw perhaps .

The right blend in there helps and understanding the system , which only comes with experiment and time .

No coincidence we looked more at ease with the introduction of McGeehan , maybe he's the missing link we haven't had .

    Me.
Bradshaw and Thiam will both hit double figures and The Reds will sneak into the play-offs with a win at Elland Road on 21 April.
Remember, you heard it here first.

Cam Mac was meant to be a big signing for us this season, and fingers crossed we have got a good one there and hopefully his injury is in the past now.
When Isgrove is back to fitness Im wondering how Hecky will change the midfield, theres certainly some options there.

When is Izzy back? He's gonna be influential I feel but despite his energy he needs to get that positional sense better because this isn't LG 1

I'm relatively happy so far. I expected us to be bottom 3 till October and then see us move on as our players learn the Hecky plan and learn about each other.
Key without a big striker is to get the ball up the sides to play it in low via Hammill Barnes Hedges Izzy and have a McGeehan Potts or Moncur up to support the striker in a 451.
Still frustrating to see us drop points unnecessarily though
    JMHO 🙂
