Let's get back to the original thread. In my opinion our main objectives should be a top notch striker and a good attacking mid-fielder. I think that we can cope in other areas, especially when we get Dawson and Morrison back. Lai has to put his hands into his pocket if we are to get these two requirements.

Just to help glm out, when posters refer to Dawson they don't mean Les they are referring to Craig Dawson.

Craig Dawson plays ch, but of late he has been playing rb. Unfortunately for Craig and us he has been injured for a while, but should be back any day now.

The other player referred to is James Morrison, not Van, and nothing to do the supermarket chain.

This James Morrison is a amf at West Bromwich Albion Fc.

You remember them? They play at The Hawthorns, not Stoney Lane these days.

As other posts on here, from posters more familiar with West Bromwich Albion FC, and their shortcomings have highlighted we currently have great difficulty in putting the blown round ball between the sticks, which is the aim of this sport.

On 15 occasions in a row we have failed to put the aforementioned ball between the sticks more than our opponents.

This is not because our defence, those responsible for ball out of our sticks, it is because those at the other end of the pitch cannot strike a match, let alone put the aforementioned round ball between the sticks of the opposition.

Sadly, I am not as knowledgable of the merits of potential transfer prospects (be they defenders, midfield or strikers) My main concern is, that as we are in a relegation dogfight, there is little attraction in coming to WBA.
We are quick to condemn players as ‘Championship’ standard, but factually are we likely to have much choice...irrespective of money.
    Committment essential.
